This hard to find half circular mirror with its original mercury mirror with extensive sugaring. This occurs in antique mirrors when the air molecules have broken down the mercury backing. This gives the mirror a shimmering effect and lots of bygone charm. It has a gold leaf framed with floral motif. The gesso has deteriorated over the years in a few spots but the integrity of the mirror is intact.
